Picture Perfect Birthday

I was on the fence with Picture Perfect Designer Series Paper, but now that I purchased it, I'm placing another order.  Super fun paper and a great stamp set to match.  The stamp set has fantastic fonts with birthday themes.  Mix and match the paper and the cards you can create are endless.  The paper comes 6x6 with 4 designs each totalling 48 sheets of paper.  I used one sheet of paper to create this gate fold card with a belly band.  Only two scraps were left; one of which I can use with another card.

To see how I created this card, click on the next image to view my video.

Here are a few more closeup pictures along with a picture of the inside panel.

I hope you enjoy this Suite as much as I do!

Stamp and create today!

Inspirational Card using Products from Stampin' Up!

Today's card was created for my mom who is battling a terrible disease, called Alzheimer's.   Mom was diagnosed when she was 74 and will be celebrating her 77th birthday March 16th.  We plan to take her out to her favorite restaurant this coming Saturday.  She loves to socialize and be with her family!

I used products from all three current catalogs; the 2017-18 Annual catalog, Occasions catalog, and Sale-a-bration.  I don't think I have ever created a card using products from all three catalogs!

Two of the stamp sets were designed by Millon Sales Achievers; Patty Bennett and Brandy Cox so that was super fun using stamp sets designed by very talented stampers.

Click on my video to see how I created this card.

Artistically Asian Stamp Set Sympathy Card

Today, I gave myself a challenge to work outside of my comfort zone.  Mainly speaking, stamping with wood mount stamps.  Now there is nothing wrong with wood mount stamps, and many people use them.  I tend to lean towards photopolymer stamps just because I can see through the stamp and it's just easier for me.
My other two comfort zone issues were sponging on camera along with using a color that I do not use very often and that being Perfect Plum.
I believe working out of my comfort zone with wood mount stamps made me slow down a little to focus on my stamping.  I can't believe I was able to get the sentiment straight on my first try.  I just think stamping with wood mount stamps makes you think a bit harder.  So, I guess I really enjoyed the challenge and being out of my comfort zone today.
I'm getting ready for a craft show this coming weekend (March 10, 2018) and my inventory of Sympathy cards is pretty low.  I came up with this design using sponge daubers and masking technique.  The ink colors I used for sponging (top to bottom) were Marina Mist, Sweet Sugarplum, and Perfect Plum.  All stamping was done using Elegant Eggplant.

You can follow along on my YouTube channel by clicking on the image below.

I hope you enjoyed today's card, and that I have challenged you to work out of your comfort zone.  Let me know who it goes.  I would love to hear from you.

Have a great day stamping!

Let's Bring Back Honeycomb Happiness

I'm getting ready for my next craft fair and wanted to create an Easter tag, but I did not have a current stamp set to use.  No worries, let's bring back Honeycomb Happiness from 2017 Sale-a-bration.
I used the scallop tag topper to create the tag, which is a piece of Whisper White cut 2 x 3.
I stamped in Stazon Jet Black ink to create the cute little chick.  The chick is colored in using Daffodil Delight and Calypso Coral watercolor pencils.  I used the blender pen to move around the colors and blend them all together.
To create the banner, I used Thoughtful Banners stamp set along with Duet Banner Punch.  Elegant Eggplant ink stamped on Daffodil Delight card stock.  The banner is popped up using one dimensional.  A cute flower punched out with the retired Itty Bitty flower punch and a pearl added to the center adds a cute touch.
The bag was created using retired designer series paper.  Each bag is filled with Easter candy and packaged with a clear bag.
I hope you get to make some cute Easter gifts as well.  Have a great day and stamp and create!

Lovely as a Tree Masculine Monday Let's Make a Birthday Card

My go to stamp set when making Masculine cards is Lovely as a Tree.  Whether it's just green leaves or fall foliage, you can't go wrong with this stamp set.  The sentiments from Sunshine Sayings transforms this card to many different cards.

I went with a brown and green theme with today's card.  Personally, I'm done with the Vermont winter and just want to see green.  Coloring the leaves on the tree made me think just a few more months!

All the supplies and measurements to make this card are in my video.  Please take a look.

I hope you re-create this card today!  To purchase the supplies that I used, please visit my online store at
